3 Clothes Developments That Are Out in Winter 2024—and three That Are In

Whether it’s summer or winter, we always want to know what clothing trends are in—especially when it comes to dresses. They are and continue to be one of our favorite no-brainers for quick and effective styling. After all, they create an instant look.

But what if you want something as easy to style as a winter dress…without actually wearing one? When it’s cold outside, sometimes you need alternatives. Luckily, there are several clothing trends this winter 2024 that provide the perfect solution. They can be styled just as easily and look just as chic—but you’ll be a helluva lot warmer.

Matching sets that come as a top (short- or long-sleeve) with a skirt or trousers—the so-called co-ords—were a big trend all summer and will continue to be so in fall and winter. During the warmer months, the focus was on light, flowing fabrics and colorful prints.

Now look for cozy knitted pieces in neutral colors like cream, gray, and beige. Patterned sets are less on trend, so they’ll be harder to find if that’s what you’re shopping for.
