The AOMAIS Sport II Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker 4.0 features a waterproof rating of IPX7, which means that it remains waterproof at a depth of 1 meter (3 feet) for thirty minutes. In general, most portable speakers of this class are waterproof-rated IPX5, which doesn’t even cover submersion. If you plan to use your portable speaker by the pool, obviously a waterproof speaker with an IPX7 rating like the Sport II can only be an asset.
One of its other big claims is being shockproof. If you kids, being slammed to the ground (accidentally, of course) is inevitable. The unit will survive some serious beating. We can say that the claims of ruggedness live up to the hype, which is really cool—and obviously a must for someone who plans to take this speaker on extreme outdoor excursions.
Another big feature on the AOMAIS Sport II Wireless Speakers is its ability to be paired with another Sport II for a left and right channel 40W speaker set up. It works surprisingly well. Is it a substitute for an ultra-HD studio-quality audio setup? Of course not. But depending how picky you are, especially those hosting outdoor events or pool parties, you could definitely get used to the two-speaker setup capability.
