Nikon Unveils COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED: The Final Laser Rangefinder for Golfers



Nikon has announced the launch of its latest innovation for golfers, the COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED Laser Rangefinder. This advanced device is designed to deliver fast, accurate measurements, making it an indispensable tool for golf enthusiasts. Equipped with Nikon’s HYPER READ technology, the COOLSHOT PROIII ensures measurement results are displayed instantly, regardless of distance, reducing stress and improving usability in any situation. The rangefinder also retains the optical lens-shift STABILIZED function from its predecessor, the COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED, which received widespread acclaim for its exceptional performance.

One of the standout features of this new model is the Dual LOCKED ON QUAKE technology, which provides both a visual cue and vibration when the distance to the flagstick has been successfully measured. This feature is especially beneficial when measuring distances with overlapping subjects, such as a flagstick positioned against a wooded backdrop. The viewfinder displays a green “LOCKED ON” sign and emits a brief vibration to confirm the correct distance.

The COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED offers four measurement display modes, including an Actual Distance Mode that complies with official golf competition regulations. In this mode, the green Actual Distance Indicator blinks to confirm that the Incline/Decline measurement function is disabled, ensuring compliance during tournaments.

For practice sessions, the rangefinder includes a Golf Mode that provides a guide distance for each shot, helping golfers choose the right club with confidence. Switching between modes is seamless with a single press of the MODE button.
