The checkerboard patterns, bubbly fonts and sunset tones that started popping up in decor have made their way to the seasonal aisles, with everyone from Michaels to Target debuting decor in dusty pinks, oranges and Creamsicle tones. There’s a ‘70s vibe to it all the aesthetic, which tends to be cheery and whimsical over the typical dark and brooding take on Halloween. (Picture smiley ghosts, velvet or mirror ball pumpkins and pastel cauldrons.)
It’s something TJ Maxx and Marshalls has also noticed, with a rising interest in pink Halloween decor across the board, says Sarah Ajamian, AVP Marketing at Marshalls.
